bet365 review: our verdict for Irish bettors
bet365 has no Irish web address, but it does publish an Irish help centre and Irish terms (version 3.00, effective 1 July 2026). We used those pages to judge its in-play product, its payments and its safer-betting tools for customers in Ireland.

At a glance
Irish customers bet on bet365.com; the Irish-specific rules sit in the help centre under help.bet365.com/s/en-ie.
In-play betting is the heart of the product, with cash out on some events before the start and during play.
Live streaming comes with conditions (a funded account or a recent bet, on a help page for another market) — to be confirmed for Ireland.
Every payment method has its own published minimum and maximum, and the terms rule out credit card funding.
A deposit limit covers all products at once; we could not find Irish pages for time-outs or reality checks.
What stands out: Deep in-play coverage with clearly listed payment limits.
Think twice if you prefer a bookmaker with an Irish web address: Irish customers use bet365.com, with Irish terms in its help centre.

Irish sport coverage
3.5 out of 5, and the reason is what we could not see rather than what we saw. bet365’s Irish terms cover its sportsbook, and its help pages describe in-play betting and cash out across a wide range of events. But bet365.com cannot be opened from our location, and the Irish help centre does not list sports, so we could not confirm from its public Irish pages how Gaelic football, hurling, Irish racing or League of Ireland football are covered. To re-check: the sports menu from an Irish connection, with particular attention to championship GAA markets and Irish race meetings. If that check shows broad Irish coverage, this score will go up; until then we keep it at three and a half.
Live betting & streaming
4.5 out of 5. In-play is where bet365 puts its weight, and its help centre explains cash out in plain terms: it is offered on some events, both before the start and in play, and bet365 is clear that it may not be available on every bet. Live streaming exists, but a help page written for another market ties it to having a funded account or a bet placed in the last 24 hours. We kept half a star back because the cash-out page we read is a general one rather than an Irish page. To re-check: whether the same streaming rule applies in Ireland and which sports are shown.
App & site
3.5 out of 5. The betting product lives on bet365.com — bet365.ie did not resolve from our location — and the only Irish path we found is inside the help centre. That split, one global site for betting and an Irish corner for the rules, works, but Irish-specific information takes some digging. We could not confirm from its public Irish pages whether an app is offered in Ireland, under which developer name, or whether the site footer names Hillside (Europe) ENC and its GRAI licence. To re-check: the footer and the app store listings, both from an Irish connection.
Payments in euro
4.5 out of 5. bet365’s Irish payment pages are precise: Visa, Mastercard and Maestro debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and paysafecard are listed, and each has its own minimum and maximum rather than one blanket figure. Note that a PayPal deposit starts at €30, higher than the €5 card minimum, and that paysafecard deposits are capped at €1,000. The terms state that card deposits are free and that transactions funded by credit card are not accepted. Withdrawals return to the method you deposited with. The missing half star: we could not find a withdrawal fee stated as a separate figure, so check the cashier before you request one.
Safer-betting tools
4 out of 5. Two tools are clearly documented on Irish pages. The deposit limit covers every bet365 product at once — a reduction applies immediately, an increase only after a cooling-off period — and self-exclusion still lets you log in to withdraw any balance. The terms also refer to Ireland’s National Gambling Exclusion Register “when available”; that register is not yet operating, so for now self-exclusion is arranged with each bookmaker. What cost a star: the Irish responsible-gambling page returned an error when it was checked, and we could not confirm time-outs or reality checks for Ireland, although further controls are listed in account settings.
bet365 runs one sportsbook for many countries and keeps the Irish rules in a separate corner of its help centre. That has a practical
consequence for this review: the Irish terms and payment pages could be read in full, but the sports menu itself sits on bet365.com,
which returned a geo-block to our connection. So this chapter is honest about the gap rather than filling it with guesses.
What we could confirm
The Irish terms (version 3.00) cover sports betting with Hillside (Europe) ENC, and bet365’s help pages describe in-play betting
and cash out across many events. The breadth of that in-play product is the main reason for its live-betting score and
for describing bet365 as best suited to in-play bettors.
What to check from Ireland
If you are weighing bet365 for Irish sport, open the site from home and look for these before you register:
Gaelic games. Are both Gaelic football and hurling listed, and do the championship games carry handicap and
total-points markets as well as the match result? Our GAA betting guide explains those
markets.
Racing. Do Irish meetings appear alongside British ones, and what each-way terms and non-runner rules apply on the
race you are interested in? The racing terms guide covers the vocabulary.
Football. Is the League of Ireland covered in-play, or only before kick-off?
Rugby. Are the United Rugby Championship and the Six Nations offered with the same depth as the bigger football
leagues?
None of these questions has a right answer for everyone; they simply decide whether the product fits the sport you follow. And
whichever sport it is, most bets lose — set the amount you are prepared to lose before you look at the markets.
iv.
In-play, streaming and cash out conditions
In-play is where bet365 concentrates, and its help pages explain how live betting and cash out work. The detail worth knowing is in the conditions.
Cash out: some events, not all
bet365’s cash-out page says the feature is offered on some events, before the start and in play, and that it may not be available
on every bet. In practice an offer can be suspended at exactly the moment you want it — a goal, a try, a fall at the last —
and the amount offered tracks the live price, with the bookmaker’s margin built in. The page we read is bet365’s general
help page, not an Irish one, so we have flagged it for a check from Ireland.
Streaming has conditions
bet365 does offer live streaming, but a help page written for another market makes it conditional: you need a funded account or a bet
placed in the previous 24 hours. Conditions like these mean streaming is not simply a free television service; it is linked to betting
activity, which is worth bearing in mind if you are trying to cut down. We could not confirm the Irish version of the rule or the list
of sports shown in Ireland.
Keeping live betting in proportion
Live prices change constantly, and that pace is what makes in-play betting easy to overdo. Set the deposit limit first
— at bet365 it covers all products, so there is no back door — and decide on a stake per event before kick-off. Our
guide to in-play betting, streaming and cash out walks through the mechanics.
v.
bet365.com in an Irish pocket
There is no bet365.ie to visit: the address did not resolve from our location, and the only Irish path we found is in the help
centre at help.bet365.com/s/en-ie. Customers in Ireland use bet365.com, and the site we link to is that
address. It returned a geo-block to our connection, so we have not described its layout or mobile behaviour.
Making sure you are on the Irish account
Because the same address serves many countries, it is worth checking that your account sits with the Irish licensee. The Irish terms
name Hillside (Europe) ENC; the footer of the site should show that company and its GRAI licence number when you open it from Ireland.
We could not read that footer ourselves, which is one of the items on our list to re-check.
App, or browser?
bet365’s public Irish pages did not tell us whether Irish customers can download a dedicated app. If your app store shows
one, open its details and check the developer name, then confirm after logging in that the Irish terms are linked and that the deposit
limit and self-exclusion pages are reachable from the menu. A betting app on the phone you carry everywhere makes betting easier to
start; it should make limits just as easy to set. Our betting apps guide lists what to look for.
Identity checks
bet365 requires identity checks before a withdrawal can be completed, and its terms allow it to ask about age, identity, address and
the source of funds. Completing these early, while nothing is waiting to be paid, is the least stressful way to do it.
vi.
Live chat, web form and the route to GRAI
bet365 lists live chat as open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, alongside a web form and its social media channels; all three are
linked from the Irish contact page. For anything you may need to prove later, the web form is the better
choice, because it leaves a written record.
Complaints, step by step
Raise the issue with bet365 by live chat or web form, with the date, the bet or transaction and what you want done.
Keep every reference number and reply.
If it is not resolved and concerns a licence obligation that has already commenced, use the
GRAI complaints page. The GRAI looks at whether licensees meet their obligations; it does not
rule on individual disputes over a bet.
Self-exclusion and your balance
One detail of bet365’s Irish self-exclusion page is worth knowing: after you self-exclude you can
still log in to withdraw any money left in the account. That removes a common reason people hesitate to exclude — worry about a
balance left behind.
Regulatory record
As of 3 October 2026 the Irish regulator’s enforcement page listed no action against any GRAI licensee. The one regulatory
case we found is British: in April 2024 the Gambling Commission announced that bet365 would pay
£582,120 for regulatory failures. It involved bet365’s UK-licensed companies rather than Hillside (Europe) ENC; we include it
so the picture is complete.
vii.
How withdrawals work at bet365
Verify. Identity checks must be complete before a withdrawal.
Request. Withdraw to the method you deposited with. Minimums listed for Ireland: debit card €5, bank transfer €10 (up to €50,000), PayPal €15 (up to €8,000).
Review. bet365 states it aims to process requests within 2 hours of the request.
Payment. Arrival then depends on the method and your bank.
Since 1 July 2026, GRAI licensees may not accept credit cards or offer credit, so debit cards are the card option.

Safer-betting tools
Tools listed by bet365:
Deposit limit across all products (decreases apply at once, increases after a cooling-off period)
Self-exclusion, with access kept to withdraw any balance
Further controls in account settings
Set a limit before your first deposit. If betting stops being fun, the GamblingCare National Helpline is free and open 24/7 on 1800 936 725. Source: bet365 safer gambling pages, checked 3 October 2026.

Licence and terms
bet365 is operated in Ireland by Hillside (Europe) ENC, which holds a remote betting licence from the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland: GRAI-0539-RB-26-0001, issued on 1 July 2026. You can look it up on the GRAI public register; we last checked it on 3 October 2026.
Irish terms: Version 3.00, effective 1 July 2026 (read them on bet365’s site). Our review covers sports betting only.

Our verdict
bet365 is a strong choice for readers who bet while events are running. Its Irish help pages are thorough on payments, each method has its own limits, credit card funding is excluded, and the deposit limit spans every product. Cash out and live streaming are available, though both come with conditions you should read first.
Think twice if you want a bookmaker with an Irish web address, or if you rely on time-outs and reality checks — we could not confirm those for Ireland. The Irish sports menu also needs a check from an Irish connection before we can stand fully behind the sport score. Betting is entertainment with a cost, so decide what you can afford to lose and set a deposit limit before your first bet. Voienexo is not a bookmaker and does not hold a gambling licence.
Short answers from the bookmaker’s Irish pages and the GRAI register.

Which GRAI licence does bet365 hold?
Hillside (Europe) ENC holds GRAI remote betting licence GRAI-0539-RB-26-0001, issued on 1 July 2026 for three years. It is listed on the GRAI public register, which we checked on 3 October 2026.
Does bet365 have a .ie website?
No. Customers in Ireland use bet365.com; bet365.ie did not resolve when we checked. Irish rules, payments and safer-gambling pages are in the help centre’s Irish section.
Is there a bet365 app in Ireland?
bet365’s public Irish pages do not say whether an Irish app exists. If you install one, check the developer name and that the deposit limit and self-exclusion settings are in the menu.
Can I watch live sport on bet365 in Ireland?

How do I set a deposit limit or self-exclude at bet365?
Set a deposit limit in your account; it applies to all products, a lower limit takes effect at once and a higher one only after a cooling-off period. Self-exclusion is also in the account, and you can still log in to withdraw your balance. For support, call the GamblingCare National Helpline on 1800 936 725 (24/7) or Extern Problem Gambling on 089 241 5401.
How do I complain about bet365?
Contact bet365 first by live chat or web form and keep the reference. If the problem concerns a licence obligation in force and stays unresolved, use the GRAI complaints page.
